Using the Abeng-a trumpet fashioned from animal horns-Jamaica's female national hero relentlessly rallied her troops across treacherous mountain ranges to defeat the military trained british armies during the late 17th and early 18th century.

...Born in a close knit community named Lionel Town, bordering on the world famous sugar producing "Money MuskEstates" in the parish of Clarendon,Jamaica, Kippax was passionate about drawing from an early age, drawing countless portraits on slate, of his paternal grand uncle, Uncle Joe, underneath the family guinep tree. "Send the boy to draw my picture,"he would often say to my grandmother, his sister, Kippax remembers. Kippax won an academic scholarship to the prestigious Kingston College in Jamaica's capital city, but passionately pursued his love of drawing when he arrive in New York. ...
